5 Brilliant Destinations for your next Girls Holiday

Girly holidays are a lot of fun but travelling together with a group of friends can be difficult to organize. First you have to synch everyone’s schedules then you have to find a place that everyone wants to go. Then, you’ll have to decide which airport to fly from and organise airport parking or transfers. Being organised and making plans in advance will mean a fun and stress free trip, and can also help to keep the costs down.

Here are 5 ideas of brilliant destinations for your next girls’ holiday.

Thailand, in Southeast Asia, is one of the most popular, fun and safe exotic destinations for a girls holiday. It is known for its cultural treasures and its fabulous beaches.  Don’t miss the exciting capital Bangkok where you can visit the Grand Palace which was formerly a royal residence and now has been converted to a museum. Wat Arun, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Rong Khun are some of the amazing temples that you can visit in Thailand and don’t miss the amazing beaches and islands, the Phi Phi Islands, Ko Phangan, Railay Beach, Similan Islands and Hat Karon are some of the best in the country.

A girls holiday to Dubai will be perfect for those who love to shop. Dubai is known for its opulence; it has modern architecture, great shopping, and a fabulous nightlife. The popular Burj Khalifa is a 830m tall tower that dominates the skyline. You can visit the Burj Al Arab, the first ever 7 star hotel, to experience a truly luxurious lifestyle. The Mall of Emirates has an indoor ski centre and is a huge retail complex for shopaholics. There are plenty of fabulous restaurants and clubs to spend your evenings at.

Croatia is a stunning country on the Adriatic Sea that has stunning gothic and renaissance architecture and beautiful scenery. If your group loves the outdoors than spend some time at the Plitvice Lakes National Park where you can go hiking and explore caves and waterfalls. Be sure to visit Krka National Park, a national reserve that is popular for its castles. There are also thousands of islands to explore and you can take ferries or rent sailboats and kayaks to explore the area.

Paris is a major city and a global hub for fashion, art and culture. You can visit the iconic Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Notre-Dame de Paris, Arc de Triomphe, Sacré-Cœur and Place de la Concorde to view stunning architecture. France is known for its wine. You can go on a wine tasting tour and study the process of winemaking. You can visit the Catacombs of Paris which is a tunnel complex for millions of skeletons. Visit the Les Halles which is popular for bistros, shopping, markets and gardens. You can visit the Grand Palais which is an exhibition hall that hosts cultural events.

Goa is a small state in western India that is known for its stunning beaches, Portuguese style architecture, and its nightlife. You can visit the Dudhsagar Falls which is a 3 streamed waterfall with pools surrounded by a forest. Visit the Church of St Cajetan, Se Cathedral, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church and Basilica of Bom Jesus to view the stunning architecture. A few beaches to visit here are Arambol, Anjuna, Vagator and Utorda Beach. The Goan cuisine is very good so be sure to sample the traditional Goan delicacies. India is not known as the easiest place for women travellers, so check out my safety tips first, but Goa is the most westernized and tourist friendly part of India.
