I’ve been lucky enough to have seen so much of Europe, Asia and Australia now but there is still so much of the world to see and Africa is next on my list!

One of the reasons why I was so excited to visit Morocco is because it is my first experience of Africa, which only gets me more excited about wanting the visit more of this vast, diverse and exotic continent and I want to get planning all the other adventures I want to have here.

Africa is a huge continent with so much diversity and so much more to see than just safaris. From bustling souks and medinas to historic sights and some of the wonders of the world, to the great expanse of the Sahara desert, stunning natural wonders, amazing wildlife and not forgetting ancient and modern cities and tribal communities – Africa has it all and must be the ultimate adventure. 

There’s so much to explore in Africa it would probably need more than one lifetime so I thought it was about time I put together my Africa bucket list!

Take a light aircraft flight over the Serengeti

Drive the Garden Route in a campervan in South Africa

Experience the souks of Morocco

Ride a camel and camp under the stars in the Sahara Desert

Witness the great wilderbeast migration in the Maasi Mara from a hot air balloon

Met the Gorillas on a Safari in Uganda

Take a microlight flight over the Victoria Falls

See the great pyramids of Egypt

Cruise down the Nile in a dhow

Stay with an authentic African tribe

Visit Stone Town and go scuba diving in Zanzibar

Explore Cape Town

Climb Table Mountain

Whale Watching in South Africa

Ride the Blue Train across South Africa

Visit Timbuktu and Djeeme in Mali

Explore the natural beauty and see the widlife of Madagascar

Go sandboarding in Nambia

White water rafting down the Zambezi,

See the flamingoes at Lake Manyara

See the rock cut churches at Lalibela in Ethiopia

Chill out in Mauritius and the Seychelles

Canoe down the Okavango Delta

Climb Mount Kilimanjaro
