For those of you not from the UK, the Guardian is one of the most influential and well respected newspapers in Britain and the newspaper that I read when I’m in the UK so it’s a big honor to have my photography featured.

The Guardian featured 3 of my recent Instagram photos in their weekly Instagram Snapshots feature. You can see it in the newspaper on Saturday or online here

The images are from the Dzongsar Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö Institute, which is a huge Tibetan Buddhist Monastery complex that is home to over 1,000 monks near Bir in Himachal Pradesh, India.

I just loved exploring these colourful and extremely intricate monasteries in Himachal Pradesh. I visited the off beat gem of Bir, a small town with a thriving Tibetan colony which is also the 2nd best place in the whole world to paraglide. I also spent a month in McLeod Ganj near Dharamshala which is the home of the Dalai Lama and Tibetan government in exile where I spent every morning in meditation at the wonderful Tushita Meditation Center.

I’ll be writing much more about my time in Himachal Pradesh soon but for now enjoy the feature in the Guardian and make sure you follow my adventures on Instagram if you’re not following already!
