Samode Haveli

Samode Haveli tops my list of the best heritage hotels in Jaipur because of its history and elegant design that reflects the style of the royals from decades ago. Samode Haveli is a traditional Indian mansion with suites and apartments arranged around a series of intimate couryards and gardens.  It was originally built 175 years ago as a residence for the royal family and rulers of Samode and is still occupied by their descendants, who converted their home into a luxury hotel.

You can enjoy the lavish, regal air conditioned rooms (all of which are different and individually styled and are complete with all the modern amenities you’ll need) outdoor swimming pool, spa, and wellness centre. The hotel hosts Rajasthani music and dance performances in the evenings, making it an amazing place to learn about the local Rajasthani culture. You can also enjoy local food in their beautifully decorated restaurant.

The antique couches, painted arches, and gorgeous mosaic designs all over this haveli add to the sophisticated and opulent ambiance. The location is also a winner as it’s situated just outside the busy old city but within easy walking distance.  Click here to see more amazing photos of the place and to book!
