My 5 Favourite Beach Huts in Palolem – Goa’s most beautiful beach!
Even though I live in North Goa, Palolem is my favourite beach in Goa and its where I go to relax and take a break from the noise, traffic and bustle of North Goa and where could be better to stay than in one of the cute beach huts in Palolem so you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to the stunning views of Goa’s best beach!
Palolem is widely regarded as the most beautiful beach in all of Goa – a gorgeous crescent shaped beach with soft white sand, calm turquoise water and fringed by cute and colourful beach huts and cafes and emerald green tropical palm trees with views to the jungly hills beyond. Unlike North Goa there are no noisy parties thumping all night and the area around Palolem is popular with yogis and families. If you haven’t been to Palolem then you simply haven’t seen the best of Goa’s beaches. Read more in this Palolem Travel Guide.
Palolem, along with most of Goa, has gone more upmarket in recent years. If you are on a tight budget then you might be able to find a cheap hut back from the beach for 500 – 1000 Rupees but these are becoming rarer and it will be basic – usually quite dark with hard beds, cold water only, shaky floors and thin walls.
To make the most of your time here I would recommend to stay on the beach front in one of the cute beach huts in Palolem where you can forget your shoes for a few days and wake up to beautiful beach views right from the comfort of your room. The beach huts with absolute beach front views aren’t cheap but I think it’s worth it! You can also save money by staying just a few minutes walk from the beach.

The views from here are hands down the best on Palolem beach and every hut has as sea view.
